Scars On 45 Drops Debut Album

For the better part of the past three years, Scars on 45 has been working incessantly towards this week’s release of their self-titled debut album.

A brutal touring schedule, the tease of failed record deals and nearly seeing bassist Stuart Nichols quit could have derailed Scars.

But the group prevailed, as songs like “Heart on Fire” and “Give Me Something” have made it on several TV shows, and Scars on 45 even made their television debut in early March on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

“It’s a stamp of approval,” frontman Danny Bemrose told Billboard of the record’s release. “I don’t want to say it proves that we were right, but it certainly gives us a pat on the back and a ‘well done for sticking with it.’”
