Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy and his 18-year-old son Spencer have formed a new band called Tweedy, and the duo will release debut album Sukierae on Sept. 16.
The project began as a solo effort by the Wilco frontman, but he eventually recruited Spencer to play drums.
Tweedy has already shared a few tracks, with the latest coming via VH1 First. “Fake Fur Coat” is a sweet and simple affair, and you can stream it below.
In addition, Tweedy appeared as the musical guest last week on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and performed “Summer Noon.”
