In advance of the late-October publication of Keith Richards’ autobiography Life, Rolling Stone is publishing a few excerpts in its Oct. 28 issue, which hits newsstands tomorrow. And as a teaser, the magazine has already posted some of its exclusive interview with the disarmingly honest Stones guitarist online at rollingstone.com.
The book promises to details Richards’ life, leaving no stone unturned whether it’s coming clean about his addictions or addressing his battle with former bandmate Brian Jones and complicated relationship with Mick Jagger.
The Stones singer read Life, Richard tells RS, “and he was a bit peeved about this and that.”
But the guitarist claims he and Jagger are still great friends and even talked this summer about working together in 2011.
