Robert Cray recently stopped by the offices of NPR, as the bluesman performed three songs off his new album Nothin But Love in a Tiny Desk Concert.
“Sadder Days,” ”(Won’t Be) Coming Home” and ”I’m Done Cryin’” are all heartbreakers, steeped in tales of romantic disfunction. But Cray’s deft guitar skill and soulful voice give the tunes an uplifting quality.
