Pyyramids Set for Full SXSW Schedule

With their debut full-length album Brightest Darkest Day coming out April 9, Pyyramids headed down to Austin, Texas, to take part in the annual South by Southwest music festival.

The band – which is made up of OK Go’s Tim Nordwind and Drea Smith from He Say/She Say – has a gritty, electro-pop vibe that was first seen on their 2011 EP Human Beings.

Now, they’ve got a stocked slate of shows at SXSW, which are listed below.

Thursday, March 14 – The Whiskey Room, 8 p.m.
Friday, March 15 – The Doritos Bold Stage, 3:20 p.m.
Saturday, March 16 – St. David’s Bethell Hall, 10 p.m.

As they prepare to take the stage all week, Norwind shot over photos of himself (top) and fellow Pyyramids guitarist Randy Michael (bottom) with their new Fender acoustics.
