The announcement of this year’s Coachella lineup had the pleasant surprise of cult Brit-poppers Pulp reuniting to perform at the festival.
But would it take a trip to the desert of California to see the iconic band in the United States?
Apparently not, as Pulp announced two more North American dates for 2012. Pulp will play New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on April 11 and San Francisco’s Warfield on April 17.
The New York show will be the band’s first stateside landing since 1998, when they went on a brief tour in support of their 1998 album This Is Hardcore.
Reunited in 2011, Pulp hasn’t produced a new album since 2001′s We Love Life. But with their first album having come out in 1983, there will be plenty of tunes from which to choose.
