Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz revealed to Spin that his new ska-pop band Black Cards will release its debut album in late summer or early fall.
“We have a whole Black Cards album done, and now we’re just writing more songs that might beat out some of the existing songs,” Wentz told Spin. “There are also a couple of new songs that aren’t even finished yet that could make it on the record. I have a song that I think I posted a demo of called ‘Paradox,’ a song called ‘Take More Than I Can Handle.’”
Spin also reports that Neon Trees singer Tyler Glenn and rapper Shaggy (“Boombastic”/”It Wasn’t Me”?) will guest on the untitled album, and that Wentz is still hoping to record collaborations with Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy and Cobra Starship’s Gabe Saporta.
