OK Go Filming New Video as NPR Moves to New Headquarters

The guys from OK Go know how to get a crowd to follow them.  One only has to check out their awe-inducing viral music videos on YouTube to see why that’s the case.

Now, there is another video in the works to help celebrate the move of NPR’s popular Tiny Desk Concerts from Massachusetts Avenue to a new building on North Capitol Street in Washington D.C.

The band is filming a performance in stop motion, starting in the old offices, then on the back of a truck on the streets of D.C. and ending in the new offices.

“We do so many things like this that require us shooting over and over and over again, so it’s not an unfamiliar feeling,” said Damian Kulash. “Everybody’s in this really, ‘Can we do it!?’ mode.”

Read the full story and view a photo gallery here and stay tuned for the video coming out in late April.
