The Squier Vintage Modified Surf Stratocaster recently received rave reviews from Music Radar. The website staff took the Surf Strat for a spin, and called it the “ultimate surf guitar.”
“The love grows when you plug the thing in,” said Music Radar. “While the bridge pickup has a pleasing bite about it, just the thing for tremolo-propelled savagery, we actually prefer the middle pickup’s punchy warmth for surf licks.”
In addition, the website also praised the Squier Vintage Modified Surf Strat for its ability to crank out a diverse range of tones.
“The Surf Strat can raise hell, too – and is also a great blues guitar,” said Music Radar. “The neck pickup is the business for Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan licks.”
