Even though Adam Lambert hosted VH1′s annual Divas special over the weekend, female artists took center stage at the event.
Legends like Whitney Houston, Donna Summer and Madonna were paid tribute, but Metric slipped in an homage to one of the top female-fronted bands of all time – Blondie.
Metric performed “Breathing Underwater,” a track off their 2012 album Synthetica, and then broke out a spot-on version of Blondie’s “Heart of Glass.”
