Matt Freeman recently gifted his old bass teacher with his new Squier by Fender signature model. The teacher, Jeremy C., posted the story on musicplayer.com’s forums.
“Matt dropped over the other day and showed his new signature model bass and asked me what I thought,” he wrote. “I told him, ‘Congratulations, this is a nice bass,’ and then he said, ‘It’s yours.’ Unfreakinbelievable.”
Freeman said he started taking lessons from Jeremy, “a real gigging guy,” in 1982.
