For reasons unknown, bands over the years have found a sense of comfort disguising their images from those who adore them — from Slipknot and Gwar to Hollywood Undead and Daft Punk.
So when it comes to the disguised pop punk foursome of Fonzie wannabes, Masked Intruder, what makes them so special?
Frontman Blue, guitarist Green, Squier P Bass maestro Yellow and drummer Red uphold perfectly-placed personas of classic 1950’s wiseguys that cannot be matched.
In the July issue of New Noise Magazine, soon-to-be fans can read all about Blue’s charm with the ladies, onstage antics involving “Officer Bradford” and the band’s thoughts on their new boss and Fat Wreck Chords owner/NOFX alum Fat Mike.
With a self-titled release under their belts and accredited list of tourmates like punk all-stars the Queers, July’s cover of New Noise is very well deserved for Masked Intruder.
