The multi-platinum selling and Grammy winning Latin rockers Mana were honored last month with a spot on Guitar Center’s RockWalk, joining the handprints, signatures and faces of such legends as Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and Carlos Santana.
Recognized as one of the top-selling Latin bands in the world, Mana has won four Grammy Awards and seven Latin Grammys, in addition to charting six No. 1 albums and nine top singles in the United States.
“We recorded lots of records here in Los Angeles,” said drummer Alex Gonazalez. “So for us, being here and putting our hands in cement and being alongside some of the most amazing musicians that have walked the face of the earth, it is such a humbling honor. If we could inspire future latin musicians and achieve what Mana has done and some day have their hands in cement on the Walk of Fame, that would be a tremendous accomplishment for our band.”
