Mexican rock band Maná owned the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif., on April 19, 20 and 25.
To date, the Latin superstars have played a total of 11 sold-out shows at the famous arena, outnumbering music giants like Madonna, U2, and others.
In a recent press conference, the band’s drummer Alex González spoke on the subject.
“It’s a tremendous honor to say that this beautiful building is not only home to the Lakers,” said González. “But now it’s the Maná house.”
González added that the band’s staggering success is due to their loyal fans.
“What you see is what you get. We don’t have a huge marketing machine behind us. All we have is our music and our talent, and a lot of our success is also thanks to the fans.”
