The first of 12 fully-realized and never-before released Jimi Hendrix tracks debuted yesterday on Spinner. Hear it here.
As reported by Spinner, the album is “a look at the creative period in Hendrix’s life between the 1968 release of Electric Ladyland and his legendary appearance at Woodstock the following summer.
The complete album––mixed by Hendrix’s longtime engineer Eddie––is expected to hit stores on March 9.
Spinner also has an informative Q&A with the album’s co-producer John McDermott, who has also written four books on Hendrix and served as the catalog director for Hendrix’s estate.
