Although he’s a native of New Orleans, home of last year’s Super Bowl Champions, Lil Wayne has confessed that he’s a bona fide cheesehead. Earlier this week, the rapper released a new fight song on his blog for the Green Bay Packers called “Green and Yellow.”
Weezy’s rally rap is a spin on Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow,” which Khalifa performed during pregame of the AFC Championship Game between the Steelers and the Jets.
Head here to listen to the tune and for the sake of the NFC Super Bowl contenders, let’s hope this fight song has better luck than Prince’s “Purple and Gold,” written last year to spur on the Minnesota Vikings during their playoff run.
