Lee Ranaldo Drops Music Video For Solo Single

Lee Ranaldo, best-known as the co-founder of alternative gods Sonic Youth, released solo album Between the Times and the Tides on March 21. The 10-song set started out as a batch of acoustic ideas that grew into a full-band rock production featuring Wilco’s Nels Cline, Sonic Youth’s Steve Shelley,  organist John Medeski, guitarist Alan Licht, and former bandmate Jim O’Rourke.

Below, watch the music video for the album’s latest single “Angles.” In it, Ranaldo is depicted slinging his guitar around a New York City alley while a mysterious girl runs around the downtown streets.

Check out the action below:

Ranaldo and Matador Records had also previously released footage for another track off the album, “Off The Wall.” View it here.
