King Krule Channels Hitchcock in Video for ‘A Lizard State’

British singer/songwriter King Krule (a.k.a. Archy Marshall) channeled legendary director Alfred Hitchcock for his latest music video.

The clip for “A Lizard State,” which comes off King Krule’s 2013 debut full-length 6 Feet Beneath the Moon, is shot in black and white and was reminiscent of Hitchcock’s 1954 film Dial M for Murder.  The scene shows King Krule playing the track while defying gravity by standing tall on one of the side walls.

As the title of the song suggests, the video ends with the room teeming with lizards.
