Country superstar Keith Urban has earned a star on Nashville’s Music Mile. Urban will be recogned this Sunday, May 15, at 2:30 p.m. CST in Walk of Fame Park with the unveiling of a commemorative sidewalk marker. The celebration is open to the public.
Urban will also perform at CMT’s Disaster Relief Concert this Thursday (May 12) to raise money for people affected by the recent devastating storms, floods and tornadoes. The 90-minute special, co-hosted by Erin Andrews, Ron White and Robin Meade, will air live from Nashville at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CMT and CMT.com. All money raised will benefit the American Red Cross disaster relief efforts. Urban will be joined by Hank Williams Jr., Alabama, Ronnie Dunn, Sara Evans, Lady Antebellum and Tim McGraw.
And to close out our Urban update, he’s currently up for a pair of CMT Music Awards for male video of the year for “Without You,” and CMT performance of the year for his CMT Crossroads collaboration with Fender signature artist John Mayer on “Sweet Thing.”
