Earlier this week, Brit power-pop rockers Kaiser Chiefs released new album Start the Revolution Without Me in the United States.
The album is essentially a reconfigured version of tracks first offered online in June 2011 under the collection name, The Future is Medieval. At that time, the Leeds-based band posted 20 new songs online, offering fans the chance to create their own 10-track album.
Start the Revolution Without Me contains 12 tracks from the Medieval sessions, plus “On the Run,” which the band recorded in December.
Kaiser Chiefs will support the U.S. release with extensive touring, including shows next week during Austin’s South by Southwest music festival.
