Justin Timberlake channeled Best New Artist Grammy winner Bon Iver during a Saturday Night Live skit this weekend.
The skit featured host Maya Rudolph, who played Beyonce at a party for the Single Lady and Jay-Z’s newborn, Blue Ivy.
“Sorry I’m late,” said Timberlake, dressed as Bon Iver singer Justin Vernon. ”I was just wandering barefoot in the woods of Wisconsin. I fashioned this guitar out of a canoe, and I wrote this song for your baby.”
The folk-rock singer quickly took to twitter to express his pleasure over the impersonation, which can be viewed down below.
“Holy s—, i was just watching SNL and JT did a Bon Iver hilarious thing!” tweeted Vernon. “Also, Maya Rudolph saying ‘bon iver’ is enough. I can die now!!!”
