John Mayer Releases New Album

John Mayer on Live at Letterman

John Mayer ushered in today’s album release of Paradise Valley with a concert last night at the legendary Ed Sullivan Theatre for the Live on Letterman webcast.

Mayer produced his sixth studio album alongside longtime collaborator Don Was, who also co-produced Mayer’s 2012 release Born and Raised. The album consists  of 11 songs including his duet with Katy Perry, “Who You Love,” and a duet with Frank Ocean entitled “Wildfire.”

Rocking a peace-signed jacket and a bandana that channeled Jimi Hendrix, Mayer’s hour-long Letterman set opened with “Queen Of California” off 2012′s Born & Raised and included Paradise Valley lead single “Paper Doll,” as well as new tracks “Age of Worry” and “Dear Marie.”
