Taylor Swift invited Jimmy Eat World’s Jim Adkins onstage during her Saturday night concert in Phoenix. Together they performed Jimmy Eat World’s cut “The Middle.”
“This is someone who’s written songs that have gotten me through some of the toughest moments of my life,” Swift said as she introduced the alt-rocker singer.
Swift has made a habit of covering songs of artists based out of the cities her tour stops in. Her weekend shows in Phoenix also included covers of Michelle Branch‘s “All You Wanted” and Jordin Sparks‘ “No Parade.”
