Fender signature artist Jeff Beck is hitting the road this fall with the Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson.
The pair’s friendship dates back to 2006, and eventually led to Wilson inviting Beck to play on his upcoming solo album. The two legends will also team up for an 18-date fall tour that kicks off Sept. 27 in Hollywood, Fla., and ends Oct. 27 in Akron, Ohio.
“He’s got a truckload of hits to play, but we’ll build on that and interact,” Beck told USA Today. “Brian will kick things off, but I’ll also be given enough time to establish what I’m about. In the end, we’ll mix and match. It’s a complete honor to be on stage with him.”
Beach Boys Al Jardine and David Marks will join Wilson and Beck for the tour as well.
