Dinosaur Jr’s J. Mascis has been popping up all over the place, as the grey-haired guitarist was featured on both a recent edition of Marc Maron’s WTF podcast and in a rig rundown by Premier Guitar.

Moving forward, fans can expect to see Mascis join a growing list of musical cameos on season three of Fred Armison and Carrie Brownstein’s Portlandia, which premiers Jan. 4.
