Step right in, and you’ll be struck by the scope of the selection—a full range of officially licensed Fender fashions from Defiance. Fender collectibles and even a small selection of instruments are displayed in the stylish new shopping spot, located at 7519 Melrose Ave. The store positively breathes rock ‘n’ roll, from the rock shots and murals on the walls to the wealth of merchandise within.
“It’s a brilliant store,” said managing partner Chris Wicks, a transplanted Brit who has literally set up shop with Fender as official apparel licensee. “This is the full Fender lifestyle fantasy come true.”
The store has already amassed a truly rock ‘n’ roll clientele, quickly becoming a popular outfitter for many local musicians on their way to work.
“It’s a pre-gig stop,” Wicks said, chuckling. “All the rockers stop by here for their bits.”
