In a contribution to The Avengers soundtrack, Soundgarden has released their first piece of new music in 15 years with the track “Live to Rise.”
The grunge gods have a new album coming out soon, but “Live to Rise” will be available in full on April 17 via iTunes.
The tune seems to be classic Soundgarden, who reunited in 2010 after a 13-year hiatus, with crunchy guitars and the nimble drumming of Matt Cameron.
Soundgarden formed in Seattle in 1984 and is widely considered to have been essential in the creation of the grunge movement.
