Scottish alt-rockers Biffy Clyro are featured in the December issue of NME magazine. Squier signature artist and Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil goes into great detail about his favorite things to eat, drink and do to have a smashing Biffy Christmas, without getting TOO smashed that is.
“I remember a couple of years ago I got so drunk that I got ill and couldn’t get up for Christmas dinner,” he recalls in the piece. “I was not forgiven by my family for that one. Christmas Day is not a time when you want to be spewing everywhere. You feel like you’re infecting a family get-together with your total debauchery. It’s like putting Rambo in the middle of Bambi; it just doesn’t work.”
The band will start the new year with a return to the US and Canada for a headlining tour beginning on Feb. 10. Ticket info here.
It was also recently announced that Biffy Clyro will play an exclusive headlining set at Sonisphere Knebworth in July 2011.
