Guitar Player magazine recently reviewed two of the three EC Series signature amps that bear the name of legendary guitarist Eric Clapton – the EC Twinolux and EC Vibro-Champ.
“The EC Tremolux is a clever marriage of Fender classics that achieves, with admirable simplicity, a useful bundle of tweed tone for today’s player,” said the magazine.
The EC Vibro-Champ didn’t stay far behind, also earning high marks from the magazine.
“This super-simple amp may look like a one-trick pony, but with the addition of tremolo, a half-power switch for even more tube compression, and its ultra-dynamic tones, the EC Vibro-Champ is anything but.”
