The Green Lady Killers, an all-female rock trio out of Arizona, unveiled their full-length album, Just Fine, a week ago today at a Sept. 25 show at the East End in Portland, Ore.
As noted in their biography, influenced by the maniacal elements of The Cramps, the inventiveness of The Pixies and the bad girl attitude of The Runaways, Green Lady Killer’s sound is one part sultry, one part menacing and all parts rock ‘n’ roll.
The East End appearance was the first of a west coast jaunt to support the album.
“We are thrilled to bring our unique brand of rock ‘n’ roll to the West Coast,” said vocalist/guitarist Lady Van Buren. “Our new album encompasses our versatile sound and shows everybody that three girls rock just as hard as the boys.”
