Blink -182 and Weezer will headline this year’s Virgin Mobile Festival, which has a ticket price we can all afford.
Billboard reports that the Aug. 30 event at Maryland’s MerriweatherPost Pavilion will be free for 35,000 fans. Virgin Mobile users and past attendees of Virgin fests get first dibs for the free tickets on June 25 and 26. Starting on June 27, the general public is invited to pick up passes at the venue or Washington, DC’s 9:30 club. The free tickets can also be ordered via Ticketmaster, although those who go this route should expect to incur a delivery fee.
Other acts scheduled to perform on the festival’s two main stages and dance tent include Franz Ferdinand, Public Enemy, Jet, the National, Girl Talk, the Bravery, the Hold Steady, St. Vincent, Wale, Taking Back Sunday, Holy F*ck, Pete Tong, Danny Howells and Lee Burridge.
