A few of our Fender employees were out and about over the weekend at various artist shows in Arizona.
British hard rock band, The Cult, brought their “Love Live” tour to town this week, and Jason Farrell of our public relations team was there at Phoenix’s Celebrity Theatre to greet them.
Below is a shot of Farrell with guitarist Billy Duffy in the “Green Room.”
Green Day then tore the roof off US Airways Center on Saturday night with their “21st Century Breakdown” tour. Farrell and Billy Siegle of our artist relations team were part of the Fender crew there to “hear the roar of Mike Dirnt’s signature Fender basses through his Fender Bass Amplification gear (which took-up HALF the stage!).”
“The band has really hit their stride, playing hit after hit after hit,” said Farrell. “It’s hard to imagine it’s the same band I saw back at the Silver Dollar Club in ’93.”
Although security was tight, here’s a shot of Siegle and Dirnt backstage.
“My brother took with his cell phone of Mike and I as we discussed gear, life on the road, staying healthy, and of course, boxing; ‘Upper Cuts and Album Cuts!” said Siegle.
