In the July issue of Acoustic Guitar magazine, senior editor Teja Gerken reviews a Fender Passport Mini, calling it “versatile,” and “small and satisfying.”

Country rocker Keith Urban and his band played “Little Bit of Everything,” the lead single to his new album Fuse, which is due out in September.  Urban also showed up during Little Big Town’s version of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain,” contributing an extended guitar solo. Taylor Swift is shown a few times bobbing her head along to the song, but it’s the Fender swag behind her that caught our eye at the :38 mark. Anyone know this mystery man?

The evening also included a tribute by the Mavericks to the legendary George Jones, who passed away in April.

Ten-time GRAMMY award-winning guitarist George Benson released his latest album, Inspiration: A Tribute to Nat King Cole, on June 4.

The album features covers of 13 of Cole’s greatest songs, as well as collaborations with Idina Menzel, Judith Hill, and multi-GRAMMY and Pulitzer Prize-winning trumpeter Wynton Marsalis.
