During last weekend’s Bridge School benefit, Beck joined Arcade Fire, Dave Matthews, Eddie Vedder, Mumford & Sons, Norah Jones and Devendra Barnhart to support the foundation Neil Young began in 1986.
With all the bands required to play acoustically, some artists changed up their songs, while others switched their instruments.
Beck’s group did a little of both, breaking out a Fender FM-63S “F” Style Mandolin for a cover of Young’s “Pocahontas.”
And guess who joined Mr. Mixed Bizness on the tune? Young himself.
