After awing the crowd at Lollapalooza on Friday afternoon, Austin based rock band Electric Touch dropped by the Fender Lounge at the Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago for a more intimate performance. Led by their British-born singer Shane Lawlor, the five-piece played a few original songs from their eponymous album before covering the Clash’s “I Fought the Law.”
The English punk rock outfit has been a major influence on this young group from Texas, so much so that Electric Touch performed at a special punk tribute show to the Clash back in Austin a few weeks ago.
