David J to Reissue 1983 Solo Debut Etiquette of Violence

David J Bauhaus
Back in 1983, just after the breakup of English gothic rock pioneers Bauhaus, bassist David J released a solo album titled Etiquette of Violence, an effort that was every bit as dark as the original band, if not even more chilling.

The album had been out of print since 1990, but Cherry Red Records recently picked up the banner and will reissue Etiquette of Violence on Nov. 25.

The new package will be mastered from the original tapes and will include a second disc with 17 home demos, rare B-sides and other bonus tracks, including 11 previously unreleased tracks and the CD debut of 1983 single “March of the Sinister Ducks.”
