Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. Drops Surreal Video for ‘Run’

In their latest music video, a clip for the track “Run” that seems to be inspired by Wes Anderson’s work, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. examine the excesses that one can succumb to in life.

“Was it good for you?” Josh Epstein sings in the danceable synth-heavy hook.

The jury seems to still be out on that one. In the video, Epstein and bandmate Daniel Zott are seen surrounded by fancy clothes and a lot of gold, including a bulldog (whose off-screen name is Petunia) sporting a thick gold chain collar. Meanwhile the stories of several other interesting characters play out, with an elderly man hitting himself with a belt and a young voyeur spying on a trophy wife,
