The definitive collection of Eric Clapton’s most-celebrated blues explorations will be released later this month, but it is already available for pre-order.
1994′s From The Cradle, 2000′s Riding With The King and 2004′s Me and Mr. Johnson have all been carefully recut for vinyl at Bernie Grundman Mastering by Chris Bellman. The records are pressed on fine-grade European vinyl, which offers the highest quality analog sound out there.
The three-album, five-disc set is packaged in a high quality paper wrap and offers a unique lithograph.
The set will be available at Clapton’s official website, where there is a limited edition of 500 with each album pressed on a different shade of 140 gram European blue vinyl.
The official release date for the blues box set is Nov. 21, 2011.
