California Transit Authority Teaming with Fender Music Foundation

California Transit Authority, which features original Chicago drummer Danny Seraphine, has a new album Promise in the works, and the band is looking to support music education with its release.

CTA has teamed up with the Fender Music Foundation to donate 10 percent of the album’s net profits to help provide instruments to music classrooms, after school programs and music therapy programs.

In addition, CTA has put together an amazing set of incentives to reward fans for their commitment to this project, including autographed CDs, VIP tickets to their album release party at the 2013 NAMM show and passes to upcoming concerts.

“We are humbled by your support in allowing us to express who we are through the sound of our music,” Seraphine wrote on the album’s official website.  ”You help us give back to the next generation of musicians, and music lovers.”
