Bruno Mars Wins 2012 Brit Award For International Male Solo Artist

Bruno Mars took home a big honor this week when he won a 2012 Brit Award for Best International Male Solo Artist.

Mars was up against Aloe Blacc, two-time Grammy winners Bon Iver, David Guetta and Ryan Adams.

Mars also performed “Just the Way You Are,” a hit off 2010′s Doo-Wops & Hooligans.

The Hawaii-raised Mars was ecstatic upon receiving his trophy.

“I want to thank everybody in the U.K. that supported my album and came to my shows,” he told the crowd. Ā ”It’s always been a dream of mine just to visit, but the fact that I get to come over here and be a part of this show is incredible.”

Mars – who was nominated for six Grammys this year – also told fans to keep a look out for a new album on the horizon.
