Bruno Mars recently released the lead single off his upcoming Dec. 11 album Unorthodox Jukebox.
“Locked Out of Heaven” is a funky number, featuring a thick bass line and soaring chorus. Mars, who will be the host and musical act on Saturday Night Live on Oct. 20, first debuted the song on a live YouTube chat with fans. During the chat, Mars revealed that he and his production team, the Smeezingtons, had been working on the track for a while in a Los Angeles studio.
“So if it’s not good, we’ve wasted a lot of time,” he joked.
