Rolling Stone has reported that Blink-182 will debut new material during this summer’s Honda Civic Tour with My Chemical Romance.
“It’s the first time there will be new music in nine years,” drummer Travis Barker told RS last night at a gathering to announce the tour at the Rainbow Bar and Grill in West Hollywood.
The reunited punk-pop trio began working on a new album, their first since 2003 last year, and are still a few months away from completion.
“We have until July 31st to hand the record in, and I think we’ll use every single day until then, as always,” said Fender signature bassist Mark Hoppus.
The tour kicks off Aug. 5 in Holmdel, N.J. Dates here.
