Fender bassist Mark Hoppus used his twitter account to share his emotions about his Blink-182 band’s return to the stage last night in Las Vegas for the first time since 2004.
Midday Thursday he tweeted, “First proper Blink-182 concert in 5 years starts in a couple of hours. Stoked. Excited. Nervous. Happy. Gonna watch MCS play new songs!!”
Then, just prior to the start of the 90-minute show at the Joint at the Hard Rock Casino, Hoppus tweeted, “About to walk onstage. Super awesome to the extreme times a hundred bazillion.”
The reunited band reportedly opened the night with “Dumpweed” and“Feeling This,” and then closed out the evening with “Dammit.”
This morning (again via twitter), Hoppus referred fans to MTV’s review of the show––”Blink-182 Prove They Haven’t Lost A Step At Raucous Tour Kickoff In Vegas.” Check it out.
