Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro wrapped up a short North American tour last night in Los Angeles by performing at Spin’s Liner Notes series at the Bootleg Theater. The benefit gig for local charity Homeboy Industries paired the band’s performances with readings by Mark Danielewski, the author of novel Only Revolutions, which inspired Biffy Clyro’s 2009 album of the same name.
Squier signature artist and Biffy Clyro singer Simon Neil explained at the event that he read the book on his honeymoon and was instantly inspired to make an album about it. Read more details over at Spin.
The charity gig followed a sold-out gig at the legendary Troubadour on Tuesday night. Watch a video clip from that show below.
The band will return to the United States for another two-week run beginning March 31. Show info here.
