Avril Lavigne Mixes Comics and Reality in New Video

Avril Lavigne’s new music video for “Rock N Roll” is an assault on all the senses, taking pages from movies like “Bonnie and Clyde,” “Escape from L.A.” and perhaps even “Sharknado” as she tries to save the song’s genre.

Donning studded fatigues and a helmet for much of the proceedings, Lavigne takes on an evil character that looks like Greedo from Star Wars at the start.  By the end of the clip, Greedo is revealed as a beast that has the body of a bear and the head of a shark.  Adding to the insanity is Lavigne’s partners, a dog that might have a drinking problem and Danica McKellar, who played Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years.

It’s definitely a fun video that must be watched to fully comprehend.
