The Austin City Limits festival kicks off tomorrow at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas. Pearl Jam, Kings of Leon, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Dave Matthews are some of the megastars headed to the Texas’ capital for the weekend festival, which features 130 bands in all.
Those attending Friday night will have to choose between the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Kings of Leon as both bands go on at the same time.
Pearl Jam closes out the event on Sunday night, while Matthews is slated for a Saturday night show–keep an eye out for his new Fender Stratocaster, which he played during a July appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.
Some of the other artists who will appear throughout the weekend include And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Citizen Cope, Coheed and Cambria, Deer Tick, Flogging Molly, Phoenix, Quinn Sullivan, Reckless Kelly, The Airborne Toxic Event, The Parlor Mob, and The Raveonettes.
Anyone out there planning to attend the festival, please send any photos you may take of these bands or any other Fender-wielding musicians to email@example.com and I’d be happy to share your photos in the blog.
