Argentina Vice President Candidate is a Rocker

Amado Boudou is running for Argentina’s vice president and he’s been using his Fender Telecaster and famous Argentinian band Mancha de Rolando to help campaign.

“Rock helps me communicate directly with the people because rock doesn’t lie, and people are fed up with lying politicians,” Boudou told The Guardian.

Argentinian president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner chose Boudou as her running mate two months ago, and the pair took 50 percent of the vote in national primaries this month, against a mere 12 percent for runner-up Ricardo Alfonsin of the Radical party.
