60th Anniversary Tele Notes & Trivia: 1983

Two trivia questions today:

What was it called?

Answer: Elite Telecaster

2) In June, the Police release massive (and, as it turned out, final) studio album Synchronicity, once again featuring masterful Telecaster work by Andy Summers. The album boasts an incredible four U.S. top-ten singles, including a massive international number-one hit.

What are the four hits?

Answer: “Every Breath You Take,” “Wrapped Around Your Finger,” “Synchronicity II” and “King of Pain.”
