2011 Fender Showcase: Thursday Sightings

After dropping by the 2011 Fender Showcase in Anaheim, Calif., for Wednesday night’s private dealer event, signature artists and revered guitarists Yngwie Malmsteen and Eric Johnson were back for more on Thursday. Both had huge lines of fans waiting patiently for their autographs, and as you can see in our earlier blog, we captured Malmsteen noodling on his signature model in the Green Room

Later in the day Bryce Soderberg and Ben Carey from Lifehouse dropped by the booth. Soderberg had his eye on a Custom Shop Fender Precision Bass built by John Cruz. Here are both guys checking out one of the limited run anniversary Telecaster guitars scheduled for 2011.

Check out Soderberg in our 60th Anniversary Precision Bass video here.

Bassists Chris Aiken from Strung Out and Hector Maldonado (below) from Train also took a tour of the showroom floor, and then stuck around for Fender Vision interviews for our ongoing anniversary celebration of the P Bass.
