Killer NECK!

Just got this bad boy yesterday. Installed it, Set the Truss Rod, Set up the Saddles and Intonation.
Feels like a neck already broken in. The Nut may have to be filed a little however for now it plays fine and I may just break it in a while before attempting any changes to the nut.

The only recommendation I would make to Fender, Throw in a String Tree and Post and or already have it mounted to the Neck. As people already spend $200.00 on a neck. It would be a nice finishing Touch. Other than that my 95 Sunburst Mexican Strat Looks like a Brand New Axe that I originally bought with an American Standard Strat Loaded Pick Guard with the Original Neck for only $325 bucks so nothing but Praise for Fender Here,

Leo Fender is a Genius for coming up with such a Great Guitar Design that is as Modern Looking Today as the Day he created it.

Installation was a breeze, tuners and all. Nut only needed minor cutting, which should be expected. Beautifully straight in all directions, and smooth truss rod adjustment. Didn't expect gloss headstock and fretboard finish. Overall fit and finish better than I had expected, but the ends of the frets could use a bit more finishing...just a tiny bit rough. Great value, and overall excellent product. It's like having a new Strat that plays as well as most American models from the past 15 years.

Excellent replacement neck

I was thinking about buying a replacement neck for my ~'88 H series Japanese standard Strat. The frets are worn out and the neck always had issues. It was difficult to play, buzzed at the higher frets. I adjusted the action, truss rod, etc. but the original Japanese-made neck never felt right. I thought about buying a new neck from some of the 3rd party manufacturers, but wanted a real Fender neck. This was easy to install, including new tuning machines I bought that plugged in quite easily and quickly. I set it up with proper action and intonation, put on a string tree, and it plays GREAT and even seems to have improved the tone of the guitar as well (I previously had someTexas Specials installed also). I would highly recommend this replacement neck to anyone. This Jap-exican Strat now feels and plays like the REAL Deal!
